If you ever want to leave the delights of our holiday park, you will find that the Scottish Borders is a superb holiday destination with everything from ancient abbeys and castles to the latest in downhill mountain biking venues, from fishing and horse-riding to delicious local produce and excellent restaurants.

Just a mile and a half down the road lies the town of Kelso, one of the most attractive of the Borders towns, with its fine market square and attractive shops. Kelso Abbey and the Rennie Bridge are historic highlights and if you head up Roxburgh Street towards the world-famous Floors Castle and gardens, you might spot the horseshoe set into the cobbles to commemorate the visit of Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745. A golf course, swimming pool, ice rink and race course are among its sporting facilities.
